My name is Dominique, and I am a professional wanderer.

I began wandering well before I took my first flight in 2011. My grandmother is an O.G wanderer and my travel inspiration. While flipping through the pages of her photo albums, I traveled to faraway lands like Egypt & Jerusalem. I was amazed by her adventures and bravery as a black woman traveling in the 60s & 70s. Those moments helped spark my love for wandering. 

I visited my first country in 2011; Jamaica. I instantly fell in love. The food, beaches, and culture took me by storm. This would be the first country I fell in love with, but far from the last. 

Fast forward to 2015; I'm planning my dream honeymoon visiting the now-famous Tulum. Upon our return, I was flooded with compliments and inquiries about our trip. It was then I had the bright idea to open a travel agency. I later opened my agency, Wanderlust Travel US, in August of 2016. 

Wanderlust Travel US is still going strong. I have one AMAZING husband and 0 children. 
We currently reside in East Texas. 

I now hope to share my travel experiences with the world 🌎.

Best Airbnb Ocean Front Vacation Rental Caye Caulker, Belize: La Vida Perazosa

Caye Caulker Vacation Rental with Pool I’ve had the opportunity to visit Belize several times. I usually get overwhelmed with picking a cay and end up reshuffling the deck. We snagged a free-ish flight to Belize and decided to go for it. We abandoned our plans the moment the ferry docked. We instantly fell i n love with Caye Caulker. We spent our long weekend exploring and getting some much-needed R&R. This vacation rental quickly became our second home. The rental was immaculate! I vet properties thoroughly, but still, this was one of the cleanest we've booked. Like...under the bed spotless clean 😄. The rental includes a 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and bathroom. The pool is located on the ground floor of the property. You can view the ocean from the pool. The pool is available for residents only. Lucky for us, we were 2/3 guests during our stay.
